Northport is gearing up for another successful Pacific Halibut season. Currently, we are working with several vessels that will deliver Halibut for the opener.  With frozen inventories at an all time low demand for fresh Alaskan Halibut will be very strong early in the season.  Our fleet and supply lines continue to expand as we strive to meet the ever increasing demand for high quality halibut in the fresh marketplace.   We look forward to supplying you with both up to date market information and quality fresh Halibut!

Barkley Sound Kings

A Great Alternative

Barkley Sound located off the west coast of Vancouver Island, BC opened Sunday August 23rd for King Salmon.  Northport Fisheries will offer these Kings for the next several weeks.  Barkley Sound Kings average 16.5 lbs. dressed, are typically semi brite in skin color and boast good fat content and meat color making these kings a great alternative to more expensive troll caught kings.
