Alaskan True Cod will close at noon Alaska time October 1st as annouced today by ADF&G.  Going foward we expect to see sporatic opportunites from bycatch (Alaskan Sole fishery) and directed jig fishing (which will reopen Oct. 3rd).  Let us know your True Cod needs and we'll keep an eye out for you!

The last two weeks have seen several major storms move through the Central Gulf of Alaska.  As a result Halibut fishing has slowed to a crawl and production has been limited pushing up prices.  There appears to be a window of good weather for the fishermen early this week that could result in decent Halibut landings by weeks end . . . stay tuned!
